BRAID Fellow Oonagh Murphy has launched the new Responsible AI Cultural Leaders Academy and Executive Leadership Programme with Arts Council England. The programme is designed to support senior leaders across the cultural sector to make responsible use of the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence presents.
AI is already having a significant effect on how cultural organisations can create, commission, produce and communicate their work, while also raising serious concerns about how it is impacting creative futures. The new programme offers a space for leaders to develop their understanding of responsible AI and make informed decisions about how these technologies are adopted and used.
We’re really pleased to see Oonagh’s BRAID Fellowship develop in this way, providing practical support for cultural leaders in this rapidly developing landscape. This support for the sector to engage with AI is vital in ensuring that creativity, cultural value and public benefit remain central to conversations and integration of new technologies.
