BRAID’s Responsible AI (RAI) demonstrator projects address real-world challenges facing sectors, businesses, communities and publics in the responsible development and application of AI technologies.
Announced in February 2025, the three funded projects are:
Equitable futures for the live music sector: Performance, Participation, Provenance and Reward (P3R) in responsible AI, led by Professor Jen Parker-Starbuck at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Creating immersive art experiences through AI: Responsible use of AI in the creation, archiving, reactivation and conservation of artworks and their archives, led by Dr Lydia Farina at the University of Nottingham.
Exploring sustainability and environmental resilience: Sustainable AI Futures, led by Professor Samantha Walton, Bath Spa University.
