Over the summer, Tania Duarte from Better Images of AI visited our Tipping Point exhibition and supported the programme. Running as part of Edinburgh’ summer festivals, the Tipping Point exhibition commissioned artists to create digital installations, sculptural works, zines and comedic pieces that explored both the current realities and the near-horizon futures of artificial intelligence.

In this blog, Tania reflects on her time in Edinburgh and the themes that emerged from the commissioned artworks and panel discussion, finding many of the questions to be familiar to the Better Images of AI community: how do we represent AI more realistically, what does inclusive AI look and feel like and what is the role of AI in society?
