It is intended to bring together sole-practitioners and SMEs\, professionals that support the creative industries (e.g. through research\, policy\, governance\, compliance etc)\, tech leaders involved with innovation within the creative industries (e.g. film/TV\, designers\, music\, fashion\, gaming etc)\, engineers and developers who build products for creative industries\, and investors or sponsors of R&D across the creative industries. \nBy providing a platform for topic proposals and group discussions\, attendees will have the opportunity to exchange insights\, address challenges\, and foster collaboration in the field of responsible AI. Together we will: \n\nBuild community between existing practitioners and professionals\nFigure out the key challenges and current sentiment in the space to shape future directions for innovation and programming that is by/for community\nDrive partnerships and funding between industry-academic/practitioners\nOpen up conversation between industry and practitioners\n\nFinding popularity in the Tech sector in the mid-nineties\, Unconference formats represented a move away from formal conferences with attendees given the freedom to create the event they wanted. This will be a participant-driven event. Unlike traditional conferences\, there’s no predetermined agenda. We will be asking participants to suggest topics on the day. \nUltimately\, this will allow attendees to discuss some of the most significant and timely digital ethics issues facing us today and their bearing on future AI innovation. This format will facilitate the exploration of diverse subjects; fostering creativity\, peer-to-peer learning\, and tackling rapidly changing areas of interest in responsible AI. It is an opportunity to build connections with those working in the field and engage in knowledge-sharing and collaborative problem-solving. \nThis event is tailored for responsible AI professionals and creative practitioners\, including techUK’s Digital Ethics Working Group and the wider digital ethics ecosystem for this gathering\, as well as BRAID’s responsible AI research and industry network. For that reason\, it is invite-only. \nJoin us to connect with fellow creative practitioners and tech professionals across the digital ethics community and responsible AI ecosystem. Whether you’re looking to learn from others’ experiences\, contribute your insights\, find potential partners\, or expand your professional network\, this event provides a unique opportunity to join forces to address present-day challenges.
